The volunteers, providers, clinical and administrative staff of Elica Health Centers represent an amazing array of dedicated and caring professionals, who are committed to ensuring that patients receive the best care possible.
From treating your cold to helping you manage more serious health care needs, EHC provides health care that is centered on the patient.
EHC’s friendly, caring and hard-working team provides excellent care from our two clinic locations, which serve approximately 20,000 patient visits annually, a number certain to increase with the implementation of Federal health care reform measures over the next few years. But our dedication to the community doesn’t stop at the clinic. We provide:
- Approximately 150 to 200 home visits per year for patients too ill or incapacitated to visit the clinic for treatment.
- Screening and referral service linking eligible patients to public benefit programs and community resources, such as CalFresh, the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) and the Federal Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC).
Also ours is one of the first Federally Qualified Health Centers in the United States with expertise in serving the needs of the Russian/Eastern European immigrant community. EHC credits its capable and culturally competent staff, among whom are fluent speakers of over 19 foreign languages, for the ability to serve the region’s many immigrant groups.
