EHC’s friendly, caring and hard-working team provides excellent care from our two clinic locations, which serve approximately 23,000 patient visits this year alone. A number certain a number that has been increasing with the implementation of Federal health care reform measures over the next few years, and we foresee it continuing over the next few years.
Our dedication to the community doesn’t stop at the clinic. We provide:
- Approximately 150 to 200 home visits per year for patients too ill or incapacitated to visit the clinic for treatment.
- Screening and referral service linking eligible patients to public benefit programs and community resources, such as CalFresh, the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) and the Federal Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC).
- Health on Wheels visits schools and offers health exams and vaccinations for student, and will be going out in the community in the future to assist those that cannot come into the clinics on their own.
- We offer health care professionals with skills that are in demand, plus we are an FQHC offering great career opportunities, offering a community of care giving that honors and embraces a diverse representation of people, ideas, and backgrounds.
