The volunteers, providers, clinical and administrative staff of Elica Health Centers represent an amazing array of dedicated and caring professionals, who are committed to ensuring that patients receive the best care possible.
Designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), Elica is a community-based “one stop shop” offering a range of clinical, outreach and social assistance services, which our health care providers and allied professionals deliver using a patient-centered model of care.
Patients receive services at Elica’s two clinic locations – Midtown and West Sacramento – and from our mobile clinic, which collectively handle over 40,000 patient visits annually.
However, our commitment to community doesn’t stop at the clinic door. We provide:
- Hundreds of home visits every year for patients too ill or incapacitated to visit a clinic for treatment.
- Screening and referral services linking eligible patients to public benefit programs and community resources, such as CalFresh and the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP).
- School and community-based health care services via our state-of-the-art mobile clinic, along with participation at health fairs and sponsorship of pop-up clinics.
- Great career opportunities for those who are committed to providing excellent care for all in an environment that is culturally appropriate for the region’s many immigrant communities.
